5 Th EUS-ERCP connection the "EURCP" concept

Dear friends & colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you to the fifth edition of our International EGEUS Live Course, EUS-ERCP connection: The “EURCP” concept. The first edition was held in 2012 and the course was only a national one, but it attracted more than 60 Participants. In 2014, the Course shifted towards an International one and we collected more than 150 enthusiastic participants. In 2016 and 2018, the third and fourth editions were also very successful and international with more than 200 Participants.
Since our first meeting it has been our goal to highlight the most updated developments in EUS and ERCP and their combined use summed up in the new concept of EURCP which includes a whole world of new ideas and ways to approach the biliopancreatic pathology from both a diagnostic and a therapeutic point of view. All this together with the new diagnostic and therapeutic ancillary techniques and newly developed devices, such as peroral cholangioscopy and pancreatoscopy, intra- and extra-ductal ultrasound (IDUS and EDUS), the probe-based confocal laser endomicroscopy (pCLE) and the new LAMS. Participants will be able to follow a lot of live demonstrations about high quality established EUS+/-FNA/B and ERCP techniques and at the same time will have a fantastic view into the most recent advances in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic management of patients with biliopancreatic diseases.

All the procedures will be performed by the worldwide well-known experts of our Faculty. The theoretical part of the Conference will be held in a digital way, due to the COVID 19 pandemic era, in a television setting, with a varied and comprehensive program of lectures, discussions and video presentations by worldwide well-known experts from different countries in the world. Some very particular topics possibly will open new insight in the field of biliopancreatic diseases.
The official language of the Course will be English. Unfortunately we lost , due to the COVID pandemic, the historical venue of our Live Course, the Endoscopic and Endosonographic Center of the Gastroenterology Department, Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino, University of Turin, but we will have live connections with a lot of centers, both in Italy and abroad: Budapest (Semmelweis University, Budapest, I. Hritz), Cairo (Cairo University, M. El-Nady), Copenhagen (Copenhagen University Hospital Herlev and Gentofte, P. Vilmann), Hong Kong (the Prince of Wales hospital in Hong Kong, A. Teoh), Milan (Ospedale Niguarda, Milano, M. Mutignani), Milan (Vita Salute San Raffaele University, Milano, PG. Arcidiacono), Mumbai (Global Hospitals Parel, Mumbai, A. Maydeo), Mumbai (SL Raheja Hospital-A Fortis Associate, Mumbai, V. Dhir), Rome (Campus Bio-Medico, Roma, FM. Di Matteo), but the list may not be complete, with a lot of interesting bilio-pancreatic EUS and ERCP cases.

Sadly the new digital form of this meeting, due to the dramatic era we are living, will not allow you to enjoy the fantastic tourism opportunities offered by Turin (shopping, museums, other artistic venues, high quality restaurants) and the fantastic Christmas atmosphere, as in the previous editions. Nonetheless it is an honour and a pleasure to invite you to participate to the 5th edition of the EUS-ERCP connection, International EGEUS live Course, on December 17-18, 2020.
